WealthAbility®

Terms and Conditions

Last updated October 23, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and WealthAbility, LLC (the "Company", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the WealthAbility® Roadmap platform, including its websites, applications, content, and related services (together, the "Service").

You accept these Terms when you check the acceptance box during account creation. You also accept updated Terms by continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Service.

Please also read our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Both are part of these Terms.

Who we are

The Service is provided by WealthAbility, LLC, 2402 S Rural Rd Ste 203, Tempe, AZ 85282, United States.

Who we are not

Professional services provided by your independent advisory firm are provided under your separate agreement with that firm and are not purchased from WealthAbility, LLC through the Service. Some engagements between you and your advisory firm may involve engagement letters. Those engagement letters are agreements between you and the relevant firm, not between you and the Company.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for users in the United States.

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account with anyone else.
  • Maintain one account per person. Do not create multiple accounts or an account for someone else without permission.
  • Notify us promptly at support@wealthability.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • Access the Service only while physically in the United States.

Two-factor authentication is mandatory. Every account must verify its email address and enable two-factor authentication. You cannot use the Service without completing both steps. You are responsible for keeping your second factor (such as your phone or authenticator method) secure and available. If you lose access to your second factor, contact us at support@wealthability.com to begin the account recovery process.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

The Service

The Service provides tools for advisors and their clients to work together on tax and wealth strategy, including features that use artificial intelligence to help you draft, summarize, or explore ideas.

Access to specific features depends on your role (for example, advisor or client), your organization, and the products purchased. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the Service evolves.

WealthAbility, LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and your plan. This license covers both the Third-Party Technology and WealthAbility® Content, as defined below in Intellectual Property.

Privacy

The Service handles tax documents and financial personal information, and we treat that responsibility seriously. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Purchases, subscriptions and trials

What is sold. The Service offers one-time purchases, recurring subscriptions, and a license for access, sold directly by the Company. Purchases can grant access to courses, strategy content, entity-map tools, events, and AI-assisted features (each a "Product"). Free trials and complimentary access may also be offered at our discretion.

If you access the Service as part of an engagement with an advisory firm, that access is provided as part of your engagement with that firm, and is not a purchase made through the Service.

Payment processing. Payments for purchases made through the Service are processed by Stripe. Your card details are collected by Stripe directly and are not stored by the Company. Your payment information is handled under Stripe's terms and privacy policy, which are different from ours.

Who you are buying from. For purchases made through the Service, the Company is the seller and merchant of record. The name shown at checkout and on your receipt will identify the Company.

Subscriptions and renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. The price, billing period, and renewal terms are shown at checkout. If a subscription price changes, we will give you advance notice before the change applies to your renewal.

Trials and complimentary access. Free trials and complimentary access can be modified, limited, or ended at any time by us in our sole discretion. If a trial converts to a paid subscription, the conversion terms will be shown before you start the trial.

Refunds. Refunds for purchases made through the Service are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Cancellation. Cancellations for purchases made through the Service are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

AI features

Some features of the Service use artificial intelligence models, including models provided by third-party AI providers, to generate text or other output in response to what you submit.

  • Metered usage. AI usage is metered and subject to a monthly cap that depends on your plan. When you reach your cap, AI features may be unavailable until the next monthly period or until your plan changes. Unused AI usage within a billing period does not roll over and has no cash value. We may adjust caps, models, and the availability of AI features over time.
  • Output is informational only. AI output is generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. It is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not tax, legal, investment, or accounting advice.
  • Verify with your advisor. Before acting on anything an AI feature produces, verify it with your advisor or another qualified professional.
  • Your inputs. Text you submit to AI features is processed by our AI service providers as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share nor sensitive information that you do not want processed by these providers.

We do not provide professional advice

CONTENT ON THE SERVICE, INCLUDING COURSES, STRATEGY CONTENT, TOOLS, TEMPLATES, EVENTS, AND AI OUTPUT, IS EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL ONLY. WEALTHABILITY, LLC IS NOT A CPA FIRM, LAW FIRM, INVESTMENT ADVISER, OR ACCOUNTING FIRM, AND DOES NOT PROVIDE TAX, LEGAL, INVESTMENT, OR ACCOUNTING ADVICE THROUGH THE SERVICE.

Advisors and advisory firms that you work with through the Service are independently owned and operated. Many are member firms affiliated with TFW Advisors, LLC ("TFW Advisors"), an independent advisory network; others may be independent firms not affiliated with TFW Advisors. Regardless of affiliation, advisory firms are not employees, agents, or partners of WealthAbility, LLC, and WealthAbility, LLC is not responsible for the professional advice, services, or conduct of any advisory firm. Your engagement for professional services is with that firm directly, and is governed by your agreement with them (including any engagement letter), not by these Terms.

Always consult your own qualified professional before making tax, legal, investment, or financial decisions.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not:

  • Access or attempt to access another user's account, data, or documents without authorization.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or circumvent authentication, authorization, or security measures.
  • Upload malware or other harmful code, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download content or data from the Service, whether manually or with automated tools, except as expressly permitted.
  • Use the Service to send spam or unlawful communications, or to harass, defraud, or harm others.
  • Upload content that you do not have the right to share, or that infringes anyone's rights.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates any government rule, regulation, or statute.
  • Misrepresent your identity, role, or affiliation.
  • Resell, sublicense, permit, or provide access to the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted under a separate written agreement with us.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product, or copy its features, structure, or content for that purpose.

You shall not allow any third party that we have not authorized to access or use the Service for any purpose whatsoever.

We have the sole discretion to determine whether you or third parties are in violation of this Acceptable Use section.

The Company, at its sole discretion, may take any action it deems necessary to end the violation of this Acceptable Use section, including but not limited to suspending or terminating your account and suspending or terminating your access to the Service. The Company may take such actions without notice to you. These remedies shall be in addition to any other remedies the Company has in law or equity. The Company shall not be liable for any consequences of such actions, even if it is later determined that the alleged violation was not an actual violation of the Acceptable Use section.

User content

  • User content. "User Content" means the content of all documents, messages, and other content you upload or create on the Service, including your tax documents and financial information.
  • License to User Content. You grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, irrevocable, royalty-free right and license to access, host, store, process, transmit, display, and back up your User Content, solely as needed to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service, and to comply with law.
  • Sharing within the platform. When you upload or share User Content in a shared workspace, you authorize the Service to make it available to the intended recipients, such as your advisory firm and its authorized staff, according to the Service's access controls.
  • Your responsibilities. You are responsible for your User Content, including having the rights needed to upload and share it, and for its accuracy. We do not review User Content for accuracy or legality, nor are we responsible for it.

Intellectual property

The Service uses software, platform technology, design, and functionality owned by and licensed to us from third parties ("Third-Party Technology") including:

  • Stripe for payment processing. Checkout is handled by Stripe, and card data is collected by Stripe directly.
  • Calendar integrations with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, which you authorize yourself via OAuth and can disconnect.
  • Embedded video from Vimeo within lessons and courses.
  • Third-party AI providers that process text you submit to AI features.

The respective Third Party retains ownership of its Third-Party Technology. Your use of Third-Party Technology is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy, which are different from our Terms and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Third-Party Technology.

Content such as courses, lessons, strategy materials, and related educational content is owned by WealthAbility, LLC ("WealthAbility Content").

Termination and deactivation

By you. You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel subscriptions through the billing portal in your account. Self-serve account deactivation or data deletion is not currently available; you can request deactivation of your account or deletion of your data by contacting us at support@wealthability.com, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or deactivate your account for any reason or no reason without notice to you.

In our sole discretion, if you have breached any of these Terms and your breach is capable of being cured, we may give you notice and a reasonable period to cure the breach before suspending or terminating your access. After such notice, we may suspend or terminate immediately, without any additional notice.

Effect of termination. On termination or deactivation, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) survive termination. Fees already paid are handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We work to keep the Service secure and reliable, but we do not guarantee perfect security or uninterrupted availability.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT CONTENT (INCLUDING AI OUTPUT) WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE YEAR PRIOR TO ALLEGING LIABILITY.

THE COMPANY IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTS, OMISSIONS, OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE OF TFW ADVISORS, LLC, ITS AFFILIATED FIRMS, OR ANY OTHER INDEPENDENT ADVISORY FIRM, OR FOR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without your consent, in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets. These Terms will bind and benefit the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.

Force majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms to the extent caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, war or civil unrest, labor disputes, internet or utility failures, or outages or failures of third-party services on which the Service depends.

Notices to you. We may provide notices to you by posting them within the Service, sending them to the email address associated with your account, or by other reasonable means. Notices are considered received when posted or sent.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms at https://roadmap.wealthability.com/legal/terms with a new effective date. For material changes, we may also notify you in the app or by email, and we may require you to re-accept the Terms before continuing to use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, venue and personal jurisdiction shall be in the federal, state, or local court with competent jurisdiction located in Maricopa County, Arizona. Each party consents to the jurisdiction of such courts, agrees to accept service of process by mail, and hereby waives any jurisdictional or venue defenses otherwise available to it.

Waiver

None of these Terms is deemed to be waived or modified except by an express agreement in writing signed by both parties that references these Terms. The failure of a party hereto in enforcing any of its rights under these Terms will not be deemed a continuing waiver or modification by such party of any of its rights under these Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is for any reason declared to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions will not be affected thereby.
